The KTI – SAUTER hot water units are tailored to the requirements of all common concrete mixing plants in terms of system performance and hot water volume. The robust design with a Stainless steel boiler as well as a high performance insulation guarantee 100% performance for years. Hot water system boilers are not classified as pressure vessels, as is the case with commercial water heaters. As a result The annually recurring inspections are omitted – this reduces ongoing operating costs. All hot water systems are available as stand-alone, independent units for installation in buildings or as containerized solutions. They are equipped with low-NOx burner equipped with different fuels can be operated – biodiesel, biogas are available in addition to the classic fuels. Most often, a hot water system is used in Combination with a hot air unit (OLH) for heating the silos are installed together. However, both systems can always be operated independently, as required.
Direct installation In the direct installation, fresh water supplied as required is heated and consumed. As the KTI – SAUTER hot water system heats water without pressure, a water feed pump is installed to feed the hot water directly into the concrete mixing plant or to the truck mixer. A essential advantage of this design is that no additional water-to-water heat exchanger needs to be installed. The Total energy in the water can therefore be used. Indirect installation Indirect heating of water by means of a heat transfer station provides the Advantage. The water pressure of the public sewer system is used to supply the mixing plant or truck mixer with the water to be added. An indirect installation consists of a closed heating circuit between the hot water system and a so-called transfer station. Due to the closed heating circuit, there is almost no contamination of the heat exchangers in the installation. This has a positive effect on maintenance costs. The circulating pump installed in this system requires only about 10 % of current of a hot water feed pump as used for direct installation. The only drawback is the loss in the transfer station. The direct and indirect installation variants can be supplemented by additional heat exchangers for a space heating system or other applications.be expanded.

The hot water system can be seen on the left of the picture. The separate control system allows hot water to be produced independently of the hot air system (right).
With the KTI – SAUTER CombiWater, you can produce ice water and hot water – with just one system.
The KTI – SAUTER CombiMaster is used when the fresh concrete has to be heated in winter before processing and cooled in summer.
